Update 1.2.8 is live on Android



Android update 1.2.8 is here, with new content, bug fixes and more. Here’s what’s new: 

  • New level cap: 85;
  • Added new gear: Bandit's Shank, Odin's Plate, Soldier's Cap and Holy Relic;
  • Added new items: Recover Scroll, Magic Ticket and Throwing Axes;
  • Added new skills: Throw Power and Holy Magic;
  • Added new spell: Ninjitsu (skill name has been changed to "Ninja Training");
  • Adjusted prices on some items and gear to normalize pricing structure;
  • Changed skill names for clarity and added required skill trees; players should not lose any current skill points invested but may need to unlock "earlier" skills to add more points;
  • Added new attributes for thrown weapons, damage types, and autohit/autoattack spells;
  • Fixed issue with rare monsters not spawning;
  • Altered magic missile to ignore static objects;
  • Made some "behind the scenes" tweaks to code and UI

    1. I'd guess in a couple weeks at least. If you scroll back through the dev blog you will notice the Android is one update ahead of the iOS build. Cheers

    2. We're getting the submission wrapped up, so yes, hopefully a week to ten days. Not sure if Apple is back to peak efficiency after the holidays yet.

  2. Please answer me, the game is great, just one questionar, the holy skill was nerfed on this patch? And please add more options to another classes, cause wizard is too much better than the others, haha

    1. Holy wasn't proccing damage as frequently as it should have been, but that should be sorted out in 1.2.7. Magic users are definitely having the easiest time right now. We're trying out best to add more options for our melee-inclined players but it's a challenge to be sure!

    2. The only challange as a mage right now is to make sure your phone doesn't get fried by the lag ( holy + blade ring + sprint)

    3. Blade ring is good right now? I was using thunder, i was thinking to make a thunder mage, with Odin plate, or using barrier, blade ring is really good?

  3. wasnt there a holy magic already? and can you make some adjustments about the magic skills? like more information how the dps works, how much buff has been increased? cause ive been using berserk and enchant skill and see hardly a difference in terms of dmg. so a percentage or some small info should be provided or else some will think these skills are bugged. plus maxing these magics are a waste of time and disappoiting. spamming lightning does make the game easier but now, its only an infinite loop with lightning.

    1. Hey, Denzel. Yes, Holy was a spell already; we've started layering in skill that buffs the damage for various spells, and that's what Holy Magic is. We've altered all the skill naming conventions to try and make it a little more obvious what they do, and so we don't have to come up with a cute name every time we design one.

      There's been talk of more stat explanation, but we've been having trouble deciding how to implement it in a way that's both elegant and useful to players like yourself who are asking for it. If you're curious about stats in the meanwhile, I'd suggest visiting the Dash Quest subreddit; there's a lot of discussion around that stuff there.

    1. Magic build has gained new item and more number of possible build
    2. Missiles crashes themself without hitting monster very often
    3. Ending a stage has a visual bug with horizintal trasparent line.
    4. New magic are not enough power as they price (50 mana).
    Why should i use when i ve thunderbolt and holy?
    5. Create a charge build adding a new animal that reduce the time to cast charge and increase the dmg and critical chance and critical dmg
    6. Create a physical build adding a new animal that increase the dmg the critical chance and critical dmg.
    7. Create a new buff spell that add critical chance and critical dmg at cost of 15/20 mana.... U can use in physical build.
    In my ideal physical build you dont need to cast any offensive spell but only three buff spell like berseker haste and new spell
    8. Create other physical build that allow you to reach max size with only one berseker adding animals that increase your size or a new armor
    9. Lich's laser eyes dont dmg
    10. Secret attributes: like sorceror orb give you - cast time, +100 mp, + secret 15 int.
    Are they really or only visual bug?
    11. What's wrong with 5 consecutive days? Are 24H x 5 cumulative?

  5. I'd argue that the issue is less that the new spells cost too much, and more that the old spells cost too little. Lightning is probably the best spell bargain in the game. Balance with this stuff is an issue and we definitely try to consider it. Thanks for the other feedback.

    On the 5 days achievement: we're trying to figure out what's going on there. Some players are getting it, others aren't; some have progress stop at 20%, others, 40% or 60%. It should track a separate day as anytime 22 hours after the initial play session, but prior to 48 hours passing.

      By the way, i dont think that if you raise the cost of old spell you will balance the game, instead I think that you obligate us to use other spell. I think that the solution for thunderstorm is mini-nerf reducing its during. So you balance the spell and offer us more various build.

      About 5 days achievement, after 4 days that i stayed block to 20% i tried to cheat the game changed the time but with no result. Maybe there is a bug that you need something to have a counted day.

      What about lich's laser eyes and secret attributes?
      Why dont you modified the UI and show four attributes (2 on right and 2 on left) simple and clean.

  6. i have more questions to ask since i didnt find these topics on reddit, ive seen a character on youtube thats a berserker user and his character dealt 600 mdgm(doom scythe) per normal attack. ive had the skills, maxed out magic and even the same items but my dmg isnt near as what ive seen. mine only does 157-300+(with enchant) in my runs. the size does get bigger, but im not seeing any dmg improvement from these two skills. ive tried the size build. in while i have 2 item size +25 with a double spam of berserk and a dragon. still nothing came out from my dmg. also ive heard that ios users have the nerfed holy so i think this is the same for berserk or enchant? its becoz i hardly see any difference in dmg and im only hitting the mobs during this test. thanks

    1. Yes i noticed, berseker now get only you bigger but doesnt add more dmg.
      Moreover holy light seesm nerf also in 1.2.7.
      Devs come on we need megapatch and a new ui.... You can do this, you re great!

  7. Report bug: Gladiators coins dont passou from ailver for me, i havê almost every gear, and that dont change, and spell buff only gets to gold, stamina dont passou for 4, but in the achievements i got 5 days in sequence, so, thats doesnt make sense, please fix it, thanks

    1. Gladiator's Gift doesn't max out unless you've literally purchased every weapon, armor and accessory in the game. It's based on a percentage of the total number of gears in the game at a given time, so one piece of gear one way or the other actually can make a difference. Spells have to be purchased and maxed. The achievement for consecutive logins is definitely having some issues; not sure what's happening there just yet.

  9. Hey, tiny titan, why dont you make a sistem that everyday you click in some button to show that you open the game, and that contabilizes in the days played in sequence. Automaticamente and easy sistem

  10. I get where you're going with it, but I don't think it would fix our problem. We'd still have to have a check in place to determine whether the player had played already on that day, to allow the button to be clickable, etc. The problem is that if the check is the part that isn't working properly (and that appears to be the case), that's just adding parts to a faulty foundation.
