Update 2.3.3 is live on iOS and Android!

Update 2.3.3 includes a new Daily Dungeon and some optimizations. Here's what's new:

-Introducing the Ice Cavern Daily Dungeon! Keep warm and keep moving or risk freezing up. If you do freeze over, tap quickly to escape!

-Introduced early gameplay optimizations to help improve performance. This process will continue through future updates
-Added various small bug fixes

    1. Marzu, going to be posting some updates on some of the things we're working on with DQ in the near future, some of which will be addressing performance. I don't want to say that we'll be adding in options to turn a multitude of effects on/off; our hope is to have it run better across the board.

  2. Hello, there is a bug in this dungeon: if you get frozen while getting to next floor you cannot remove the frozen ice anymore and must die to break it (seems like a status bug ;D).

    Unluckily, despite it may look rare, it happens quite often because, if you're used to run dungeons with haste, you end up increasing the freezing meter quite fast and the items to reduce it do not cooldown fast enough to prevent you from freezing, which usually happens at the very end of the floor.

    2. hi, sorry for my english. Someetimes in dugneon the player stops running and i cannot do anithing but shoot spells. I have to close the game and restart.

  3. Thanks for your answer, there are also some other bugs not related the Ice dungeon:

    - in the story mode, every boss level, when you're mastering it, doesn't give twice gold when you complete the level, despite the "x2" graphics appear the amount of gold isn't multiplied by 2.
    - in every dungeon, whenever you finish a floor and go to the next One, every item cooldown is reset, but this may be Intentional.
    - the last "epic coins bonus" event was probably bugged, because it was multiplying by 4 the entire amount of currently dropped coins instead of the level's coins. There is a reddit topic about it anyway (again: not sure it is Intentional).
    - while mastering levels in classic mode, if you're under haste, reach the end of the level and die before the "area complete" popups but still manage to make it pop-up (because when you die under haste effect you slide for about 40-60 meters), you get the gold coin bonus but the level is not considered completed, so you drop like if you completed it despite it is not considered such.

  5. Hey, sorry, just another one I've noticed yesterday night:

    Spells actually gets consumed when you pause the game, so let's say that I use a spell (Lightning for instance), pause the game immediatly, wait about 10 seconds and go back to the game: the spell finished but no damage was dealt (because of the pause). Looks like spell countdowns are not paused with game pause :). It's actually not that easy to notice in "average" levels, but when you get into harder ones (like castle 5 master 5) you will notice it pretty easily :D

    1. Sorry, that's not what I've meant. What I meant is that whenever you pause the game while in a run the game pause but the spells activated during the game gets consumed, like if they aren't paused.

    2. Hey, Briosheje! We're aware that there are some spell effects, and others, that aren't affected by the pause functions currently. Haven't been able to nail down a solution to it just yet as it's affecting some other game behaviour as well. That said, we'll continue investigating it.

  7. Is there still no option to sync progress between devices in Android?

    1. Sorry, Bren, not yet. We rolled it out in an update several weeks ago and found out almost immediately there were issues with Google Play authentication on certain devices. We'll definitely be revisiting this in our current optimization path. Hope to have it integrated and working properly soon.
